The A&A Extensions 9 Steps Building Process
Our 9 step building process helps us identify what you’re looking for, and also helps us pick up on some points, which you may have never considered. Even after working on over 121 extensions, we realize that your needs will be different.
Step #1 – Let Us Know About Your Dream Home
What does your dream home look like? What style is it? Fill out a quick 5 minute questionnaire to give us more background information on your project prior to the initial meeting, so we’re fully prepared and up to speed when we first meet.
Step #2– A Personal Consultation
We’ll sit down with you and go through your questionnaire with you in more detail, and we’ll also ask you a number of questions to find out your needs and requirements, and look to establish the brief and scope of the work required.
You can bring your ideas, house plans, section information, and any other available information that you’d like to discuss with Alvin. If you don’t have a concept plan, we can introduce you to a number of leading architects that we work closely with.
Financial Considerations – We’ll help you evaluate your budget relative to the dream you have. If required we will recommend you a highly trusted financial adviser.
Step #3 – Presentation of Design Concept & Estimate
We’ll present the design concept to you based on our discussions with the architect involved, and also your needs and requirements shared with us. This initial concept will also be supported by an initial price estimate to give you a better idea of what your investment will be.
Step #4 – Prepare Working Drawings
Based on the design concept we’ll prepare your detailed working drawings for the construction of you home. This will give you a great idea of what your dream home will look like based on all of your thoughts and ideas so far.
Step #5– A Great Quote
Once you’re happy with the design and final quote, we’ll put together a detailed final quote for you, so you know exactly what your investment is going to be prior to starting the project.
Step #6– Hitting the “START” Button
Once you’re happy with the design and final quote, we’ll sit down with you and work through the paperwork to make sure everything is taken care of. We’ll also confirm the start date and project timeline with you.
Step #7–Your Dream Home Begins…
Construction of your dream home begins. Anna-Lise will keep you updated on every exciting stage of the project with regular site meetings, progress reports, and site photos.
Step #8– Building Taking Shape
Building is in progress now you will really see how efficient and well managed we operate, with trusted and friendly staff. You will be amazed at what speed everything happens but don’t worry everything will be taken care of right down to the last detail.
If we do require more information or we have a little recommendation at any stage during the building process we will let you know.
Step #9– Live Your Dream
Your dream home is ready to go. Final payment is completed and the keys are handed over to you.
You’ll now be living the dream in your A & A Extensions home. You’ll also receive:
A full commercial clean of your home prior to moving in

Code of Compliance signed off
A bottle of champagne and gift hamper to welcome you in on your first night.
